Medicine and Prescription Policy

This policy explains how Chep Meds USA reviews prescriptions, processes eligible medicine orders, and handles product restrictions. It also covers generic medicines, repeat prescriptions, and order issues tied to destination rules.

Generic Medicines Explained

Generic medicines are made to match a brand-name reference medicine in active ingredient, strength, dosage form, and route of use. They must also meet quality standards and show bioequivalence where required.

Even when two products contain the same active ingredient, they may look different or use different inactive ingredients such as colors, flavors, fillers, or preservatives. Those differences do not always change how the medicine works, but they can matter for people with sensitivities.

Generic medicines are often priced lower because manufacturers usually do not repeat the full original research program for a new drug. Lower cost does not automatically mean lower quality, and a product described as generic is not automatically FDA-approved.

  • Same active ingredient and strength
  • May differ in appearance or inactive ingredients
  • Lower price does not mean lower quality

When a Prescription Is Required

A valid prescription is required for every prescription medicine ordered from Chep Meds USA. Product pages and checkout notices explain any medicine-specific rules or limits.

You may upload your prescription during checkout, send it later, or submit it through the Track Order page or by email. We will not dispatch a prescription order until the prescription has been received, checked, and approved.

Submitting an order does not guarantee fulfillment. We may refuse or cancel an order if the prescription is missing, invalid, expired, restricted, or does not meet the rules for the destination country.

What Your Prescription Must Show

Please send a clear, complete prescription written for the person who will use the medicine. It must contain enough detail for us to confirm the order.

Depending on the product and destination, we may need the patient name, medicine name, strength, dosage form, directions, quantity or treatment length, prescriber details, issue date, and a legible document with no unexplained changes.

If anything is unclear or incomplete, we may request a clearer copy, an updated prescription, or confirmation from the prescriber. A prescription accepted elsewhere is not automatically acceptable for our pharmacy.

How to Submit Your Prescription

You can upload your prescription during checkout or through your account if you are logged in. You may also email it to support@chepmedsusa.com.

If you do not have the document ready at checkout, your order can remain pending until we receive it and complete verification. If you already sent it, contact us if you need help confirming receipt or linking it to your order.

Because prescriptions can include sensitive health information, please use only the approved submission methods.

How We Review Orders

Before processing a prescription order, we confirm that the document contains the needed details, matches the medicine ordered, and can be verified.

We also check whether the product, quantity, strength, dosage form, and destination meet our supply requirements and any applicable restrictions. If we cannot complete these checks, we will not move forward.

This verification is not medical advice. It does not confirm whether a treatment is right for you or whether a medicine is approved in your country.

Delays, Holds, and Cancellations

Orders waiting on a prescription can stay pending until all required checks are finished. We may reach out if we need more information or a clearer document.

If the required prescription is not received, or if the order does not meet the rules for the medicine or destination, we may place it on hold or cancel it.

If payment was already received and we cancel the order, any eligible refund will be handled under our cancellation and refund policy.

Strength, Quantity, and Country Limits

Not every medicine, strength, dosage form, or quantity can be supplied to every destination. Please review the product page and checkout notices carefully before ordering.

A prescription for a certain strength or quantity does not guarantee that we can supply that exact item. Country rules can vary, and a product available in one market may not be eligible for another.

Chep Meds USA ships only to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Substitutions and Repeat Orders

We do not substitute a different medicine, strength, or dosage form unless you agree to the change.

If your chosen item is unavailable, we may contact you about a possible alternative. Any replacement could differ in brand, manufacturer, inactive ingredients, or other product features, so please check with your prescriber or pharmacist before accepting it.

A prescription used for a previous order is not automatically valid for a new one. We may ask for an updated prescription before processing a repeat order.

Medicine Safety and Advice

Always follow the directions from your prescriber and the information supplied with the medicine. Do not begin, stop, or change treatment without guidance from a healthcare professional.

For questions about dose, side effects, interactions, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or whether a medicine is right for you, speak with your doctor or pharmacist.

If you think you are having a serious reaction, get emergency care right away. Website information is general only and does not replace professional medical advice.
