Zincoderm Cream 15 g

Zincoderm Cream 15 g is a topical corticosteroid cream that contains clobetasol propionate 0.05% w/w in a 15 g tube. It is used on the skin to reduce inflammation, redness, swelling, and itching caused by steroid-responsive skin conditions. Because clobetasol propionate is a very potent corticosteroid, Zincoderm Cream 15 g is typically reserved for short-term treatment of more severe flare-ups under a doctor’s guidance.

How it works: Clobetasol propionate works by calming the skin’s immune response, which helps lower swelling, redness, and itching. In cream form, Zincoderm Cream 15 g spreads smoothly over affected skin and is commonly chosen for inflammatory rashes where a non-greasy topical steroid is preferred.

The 15 g size is a small tube, which makes Zincoderm Cream 15 g practical for limited-area treatment or short courses on small, affected patches of skin. Since clobetasol propionate is a high-potency steroid, this strength is not intended for routine long-term use or large body areas unless a clinician specifically instructs it.

• Use Zincoderm Cream 15 g only on the skin, not by mouth, and do not apply it to the eyes, lips, or inside the nose.

• Rub it in gently until the cream disappears.
• Wash your hands after applying unless the hands are the area being treated.
• Do not cover the area with bandages or tight wraps unless your doctor tells you to do so.

Each tube of Zincoderm Cream 15 g contains 15 g of clobetasol propionate cream, a very potent topical steroid. It is usually applied once or twice daily for a short period, but the exact frequency, duration, and maximum amount per day must be set by your doctor because this strength is not meant for self-directed use.

• Use Zincoderm Cream 15 g only as directed because clobetasol propionate is a super-high-potency steroid.
• Do not use on the face, groin, underarms, or broken skin unless your prescriber specifically instructs you.
• Avoid long-term use, large surface areas, and occlusive dressings unless supervised by a clinician.
• Tell your doctor if you have diabetes, liver problems, skin infection, or a history of steroid side effects.
• Do not use it for acne, rosacea, or ordinary itching that is not steroid-responsive.
• In children, this strength can be absorbed more easily, so extra caution is needed.
