PH-Perfect 20 mg Tablet

PH-Perfect 20 mg Tablet is a prescription acid-reducing medicine that contains 20 mg of rabeprazole in each tablet. It belongs to the proton pump inhibitor (PPI) class and is used to treat conditions caused by too much stomach acid, such as GERD, erosive esophagitis, and stomach or duodenal ulcers. PH-Perfect 20 mg Tablet may also be used in some patients as part of treatment for H. pylori infection when combined with antibiotics.

How it works: Rabeprazole in PH-Perfect 20 mg Tablet blocks acid pumps in the lining of the stomach, which lowers the amount of acid made. The tablet form is swallowed and then absorbed so the medicine can work from inside the body to reduce acid and help the esophagus or stomach heal.

PH-Perfect 20 mg Tablet is a standard adult-strength rabeprazole tablet, so it is not meant for casual use or for self-treating occasional heartburn. A doctor may choose PH-Perfect 20 mg Tablet when a full 20 mg dose is appropriate for symptom control or healing, and when a tablet form is preferred for once-daily treatment.
