Atorvastatin + Ezetimibe is a prescription medicine that combines two cholesterol-lowering drugs in one tablet. Atorvastatin helps reduce cholesterol made by the liver, while ezetimibe lowers cholesterol absorption from food and bile in the intestine.
It is used to help lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and triglycerides, and may help raise HDL (“good”) cholesterol. It is not for everyone, so tell your prescriber about liver disease, muscle pain, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and all other medicines you take.
