Bromocriptine

Bromocriptine is a prescription medicine used in infertility therapy and other hormone-related conditions. It belongs to a group of drugs called dopamine agonists, which help lower prolactin levels in the body.

Lowering prolactin can help restore normal ovulation and menstrual cycles in some patients. Bromocriptine may also be used for prolactin-secreting pituitary tumors. It is not suitable for everyone, and side effects such as nausea, dizziness, or low blood pressure can occur.
