Doxazosin

Doxazosin is a prescription medicine in the alpha-blocker class. It helps relax certain muscles and blood vessels, which can improve urine flow and lower blood pressure.

It is used for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and sometimes high blood pressure. It may cause dizziness or fainting, especially when standing up, so follow dosing instructions carefully and tell your clinician about all medicines you take.
