Formoterol

Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator used by prescription to help open the airways and improve breathing. It is available in brand products such as Foratec Respules 15 mcg/2 mL and Foratec Rotacaps 12 mcg.

It is used for ongoing management of asthma and certain other breathing problems, not for sudden asthma attacks. Formoterol should be used exactly as prescribed, and patients should know how to use their inhaler or respule correctly and seek urgent care if breathing worsens.
