Ibandronic Acid is a bisphosphonate medicine used to help protect bones. It is available in tablet forms such as Bandrone 150 mg, Bandrone 50 mg, Idrofos 150 mg, and Idrofos 50 mg.

It is commonly used to treat and help prevent osteoporosis. Take it exactly as directed, since correct dosing and timing are important for safety and effectiveness. Do not use it if you have certain esophagus, kidney, or low calcium problems unless a clinician says it is appropriate.
