Permethrin

Permethrin is a topical prescription medicine used to treat certain parasitic skin infections. It is available under brands such as HHMite Cream, Klmite Cream, Nixiper 5% Cream, Nupermy Cream, Permiforce Cream 30 g, Permin Cream 30 g, Permite Cream 5% (30 g), Pernil 5% Cream, and Scrabic Cream 30 g. It works by affecting the nervous system of parasites, helping to kill them on the skin.

Permethrin is commonly used for scabies and, in some formulations, head lice. Use it only as directed by your prescriber or the product label, and avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and inside the nose. Tell your healthcare provider if you have sensitive skin, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if irritation lasts after treatment.
