Salmeterol

Salmeterol is a long-acting inhaled bronchodilator used to help keep airways open. It belongs to the LABA class and works by relaxing the muscles around the airways, making breathing easier over time.

It is used for maintenance treatment of asthma and other breathing conditions, but it is not a rescue inhaler for sudden symptoms. Use it exactly as prescribed, and always follow safety guidance, especially if you have worsening wheeze, severe asthma symptoms, or need a quick-relief inhaler.
