Atorec 5 Tablet is an atorvastatin tablet containing 5 mg of atorvastatin in each tablet. It belongs to the statin class of medicines, which are used to lower “bad” cholesterol and triglycerides and to help reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in appropriate patients. Atorec 5 Tablet is prescribed along with diet and other lifestyle measures when cholesterol lowering is needed.
