Lisian 10 mg Tablet

Lisian 10 mg Tablet is a prescription tablet that contains 10 mg of lisinopril in each tablet. Lisinopril belongs to a group of medicines called ACE inhibitors, which are used to help treat high blood pressure, heart failure, and to improve survival after certain heart attacks. Lisian 10 mg Tablet may also be used to help protect kidney function in some people with diabetes, when prescribed by a clinician. It is taken by mouth as a standard tablet made by Noel Pharma, India, in a strip/box of 10 tablets.

How it works: Lisian 10 mg Tablet works by blocking an enzyme that makes a hormone called angiotensin II, which normally tightens blood vessels. With less angiotensin II, blood vessels relax and widen, making it easier for the heart to pump blood and helping lower blood pressure.

Lisian 10 mg Tablet is a moderate-strength lisinopril tablet, so it is not the smallest starting strength and it is not a high-dose tablet. Because there are no other Lisian strengths in our range, this 10 mg tablet is the only available option, and a doctor will decide whether it fits your usual starting dose, maintenance dose, or a dose step-up based on your blood pressure, kidney function, and response.

• Swallow Lisian 10 mg Tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless your prescriber specifically says you may.
