Upwardz 20 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine that contains 20 mg of tadalafil in each tablet. It belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Upwardz 20 mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction and, in some patients, symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia when prescribed for that purpose.

How it works: Tadalafil in Upwardz 20 mg Tablet helps relax blood vessels and improve blood flow to specific areas of the body. In erectile dysfunction, that improved blood flow can help produce and maintain an erection when there is sexual stimulation.

Upwardz 20 mg Tablet is a higher-strength tadalafil tablet, so it is typically used only when a clinician has already assessed that this dose is appropriate. Compared with lower-strength tadalafil tablets, the 20 mg strength is more likely to be chosen for on-demand use when a stronger effect is needed rather than for everyday low-dose therapy.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush, split, or chew it unless your prescriber specifically tells you to.

• Do not take more than one 20 mg tablet in 24 hours.
• You may take it with or without food; a heavy or high-fat meal may slow how quickly it starts working.
