Zydalis 10 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine that contains 10 mg of tadalafil in each tablet. Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction and, in some patients, symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). This Zydalis 10 mg Tablet is taken by mouth and is used when a doctor decides tadalafil is appropriate for an individual patient.

How it works: Tadalafil in Zydalis 10 mg Tablet helps relax blood vessels and smooth muscle, which increases blood flow to the penis when sexual stimulation occurs. It also helps relax muscles in the prostate and bladder, which can improve urinary symptoms in men with BPH.

The Zydalis 10 mg Tablet is a higher-strength tadalafil tablet and is not meant for everyone as a first dose. A doctor may choose this strength when a lower dose has not been effective enough or when they want a specific on-demand option for erectile dysfunction; it should be used only after medical assessment. Compared with lower strengths, the 10 mg tablet may provide a stronger effect but can also increase the chance of side effects.

• Swallow the Zydalis 10 mg Tablet whole with water.
• Take it exactly as your doctor tells you; do not take extra tablets to make it work better.

• Food does not usually stop tadalafil from working, but heavy alcohol can worsen side effects and lower blood pressure.

Each Zydalis 10 mg Tablet provides 10 mg of tadalafil. Your doctor decides how often you may take it, but it is generally not taken more than once per day; never exceed 1 tablet in 24 hours unless your prescriber specifically instructs otherwise. • Do not use Zydalis 10 mg Tablet with nitrates, because this can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.

• Alcohol can increase dizziness and low blood pressure, especially with this 10 mg strength.
• Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver disease, or eye problems before taking tadalafil.
• Do not combine it with other PDE5 inhibitors or ED products unless your doctor says so.
• Be careful driving or using machinery if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or have vision changes.
• If you have BPH symptoms, your doctor may want to check whether other medicines could interact with tadalafil.
