Celedol 200 Capsule is a prescription capsule that contains celecoxib 200 mg in each capsule. It belongs to the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class, specifically a COX-2 selective inhibitor. Celedol 200 Capsule is used to reduce pain and swelling from certain arthritis conditions and other inflammatory pain problems. It is made by Ipca Laboratories, India, and comes in a strip/box of 10 capsules.

How it works: Celecoxib in Celedol 200 Capsule blocks the COX-2 enzyme, which helps lower the production of prostaglandins that cause pain, swelling, and stiffness. As a capsule, it is swallowed and absorbed into the body to help relieve inflammation from the inside.

Celedol 200 Capsule is the higher strength compared with Celedol 100 Capsule, so it is usually chosen when a doctor wants a stronger dose or when lower-strength capsules do not control symptoms well enough. Because each capsule already contains 200 mg of celecoxib, it is not meant for someone to self-start or to use as a simple dose increase without medical guidance.
