Rabifast 40 Tablet is a rabeprazole tablet made by Zuventus Healthcare, with 40 mg of rabeprazole in each tablet. It belongs to a class called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), which lower the amount of acid your stomach makes. Rabifast 40 Tablet is used for acid-related conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn, erosive esophagitis, and stomach or duodenal ulcers.
How it works: Rabeprazole works by blocking the acid-producing pumps in the lining of the stomach, which helps reduce acid and gives irritated tissue a chance to heal. As a tablet, Rabifast 40 Tablet is swallowed and absorbed before it starts turning down stomach acid production.
Rabifast 40 Tablet is a higher-strength rabeprazole tablet compared with Rabifast 20 Tablet, so it is usually chosen when a doctor wants stronger acid suppression or when lower-strength treatment has not been enough. Because it is the 40 mg tablet, it is not the usual starting choice for every patient and should be used only when a clinician has assessed that this strength is appropriate.
Each Rabifast 40 Tablet contains 40 mg of rabeprazole. For some conditions, it may be taken once daily, and in certain cases a doctor may prescribe it more than once per day; the exact schedule depends on the condition being treated and your response. The maximum daily amount should be set by your doctor, and you should not increase the dose on your own.
Do not change your dose or stop the medicine without speaking to your doctor.

Rabifast 40 Tablet is used to reduce stomach acid and treat conditions like GERD, heartburn, and acid-related ulcers. Because it contains 40 mg of rabeprazole, it is a stronger tablet than Rabifast 20 Tablet and is typically used when a doctor wants more acid control.
Take Rabifast 40 Tablet by swallowing it whole with water, usually before a meal. Do not crush or chew the tablet unless your doctor gives you different instructions.
Both products contain rabeprazole, but Rabifast 40 Tablet has twice the strength of Rabifast 20 Tablet. A doctor may choose the 40 mg tablet when a higher dose is needed, so it should not be swapped or doubled without medical advice.
Rabeprazole starts lowering acid after you take it, but the full benefit may build over several days of regular use. Rabifast 40 Tablet is not meant for immediate relief of sudden heartburn.
