Labetalol

Labetalol is a prescription medicine in the beta-blocker class that also has alpha-blocking activity. It helps lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and slowing the heart rate, which can reduce the heart’s workload.

It is used to treat high blood pressure and may be used in other blood pressure-related situations as prescribed. Do not stop taking Labetalol suddenly unless your healthcare provider tells you to, and use caution if you have asthma, heart failure, a slow heart rate, or liver disease.
