Olmetrack 20 Tablet is a prescription tablet that contains olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg in each tablet. It belongs to the angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) class, which is used to treat high blood pressure. By helping relax blood vessels, Olmetrack 20 Tablet can lower blood pressure and reduce the strain on the heart. It is made by USV, India, and comes in a strip/box of 10 tablets.

How it works: Olmesartan medoxomil is converted in the body to its active form, which blocks angiotensin II from tightening blood vessels. In tablet form, Olmetrack 20 Tablet is swallowed and absorbed so it can help blood vessels stay more relaxed and blood pressure stays lower over time.

Olmetrack 20 Tablet is the 20 mg strength, which is a standard prescription dose but still not meant for self-starting without a doctor’s assessment. • This tablet is not for quick relief of chest pain or a blood pressure emergency.

• Other blood pressure medicines, especially ACE inhibitors, aliskiren, or other ARBs
• Diuretics or water pills, which can increase the chance of low blood pressure or dehydration
• Potassium supplements or potassium-containing salt substitutes
• NSAIDs such as ibuprofen or naproxen, which may reduce effect and stress the kidneys
• Lithium, which may reach unsafe levels
