Playgard 100 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine that contains sildenafil citrate 100 mg in each tablet. It belongs to a class of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors and is used to treat erectile dysfunction in adult men. Playgard 100 mg Tablet helps improve the ability to get and keep an erection when sexual stimulation occurs.

How it works: Sildenafil citrate in Playgard 100 mg Tablet relaxes blood vessels in the penis, which can increase blood flow during sexual arousal. This tablet does not cause an erection by itself; sexual stimulation is still needed for it to work.

Playgard 100 mg Tablet is the higher-strength tablet in the Playgard line, with twice the sildenafil citrate dose of Playgard 50 mg Tablet. Because 100 mg is a stronger dose, it is usually chosen only when a doctor thinks a lower strength may not be enough or when a patient has already tolerated sildenafil well.

• Sexual stimulation is needed for the medicine to help.

Each Playgard 100 mg Tablet provides 100 mg of sildenafil citrate. This strength is not a starting dose for everyone; a doctor decides whether it is appropriate based on your health, response to lower doses, and risk of side effects. It is usually taken no more than once per day, with a maximum of 100 mg in 24 hours unless your prescriber gives different directions.
