Pinom 10 Tablet is a prescription tablet that contains olmesartan medoxomil 10 mg in each tablet. It belongs to the angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) class and is used to help treat high blood pressure (hypertension). By lowering blood pressure, Pinom 10 Tablet can also help reduce the risk of long-term complications such as stroke and heart-related problems. It is not a quick-relief medicine for a sudden spike in blood pressure.

How it works: Olmesartan medoxomil turns into its active form after you swallow the Pinom 10 Tablet, then it blocks angiotensin II from tightening blood vessels. This helps blood vessels relax and widen, which can lower blood pressure over time when taken regularly as prescribed.

Pinom 10 Tablet is the lower-strength tablet in the Pinom line, alongside Pinom 20 Tablet and Pinom 40 Tablet. This 10 mg strength is often chosen when a doctor wants to start with a milder dose, adjust treatment gradually, or keep blood pressure control more cautious in people who may be sensitive to blood-pressure medicines.

• Other blood pressure medicines, including diuretics, may increase dizziness or low blood pressure.
• Lithium levels may rise and become unsafe when taken with olmesartan.
• ACE inhibitors or aliskiren may increase the risk of kidney problems, low blood pressure, or high potassium in some patients.
