Valent 160 Tablet

Valent 160 Tablet contains valsartan 160 mg in each tablet. It is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used to help lower high blood pressure and to support treatment of certain heart and blood vessel conditions. By reducing the force against which the heart must pump, Valent 160 Tablet can help lower blood pressure and reduce strain on the cardiovascular system. How it works: Valsartan in Valent 160 Tablet blocks angiotensin II from tightening blood vessels, so the vessels stay more relaxed and open. This tablet form delivers the medicine by mouth for steady blood pressure control over the dosing period.

Valent 160 Tablet is a higher-strength valsartan tablet compared with Valent 40 Tablet and Valent 80 Tablet. It is generally chosen for patients whose doctor has already assessed that a stronger dose is appropriate, such as when lower strengths are not enough to reach blood pressure goals. Because it contains 160 mg per tablet, it is not a starting strength for everyone and should only be used exactly as prescribed.

• Swallow Valent 160 Tablet whole with a glass of water.

• If you feel dizzy, rise slowly from sitting or lying positions.
