Omten 20 Tablet is a prescription tablet that contains olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg in each tablet. It belongs to the angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) class and is used to treat high blood pressure in adults. How it works: Olmesartan medoxomil is turned into its active form in the body and blocks angiotensin II from tightening blood vessels. In tablet form, Omten 20 Tablet is swallowed and gradually helps blood vessels relax, which lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload on the heart.

Omten 20 Tablet provides 20 mg per tablet, which is a commonly used adult maintenance strength of olmesartan medoxomil rather than a starting dose for everyone.
