Ricosprin 2.5 Tablet contains rivaroxaban 2.5 mg in each tablet. It is an oral anticoagulant, often called a blood thinner, used to help prevent harmful blood clots. Doctors may use Ricosprin 2.5 Tablet for certain patients at risk of heart attack, stroke, or other clot-related problems, usually as part of a specific treatment plan.
How it works: Rivaroxaban blocks Factor Xa, a clotting protein your body uses to make blood clots. By slowing this step, the Ricosprin 2.5 Tablet helps reduce the chance of dangerous clots forming in the blood vessels.
Ricosprin 2.5 Tablet is a lower-dose rivaroxaban tablet and is not the same as the higher strengths Ricosprin 10 Tablet, Ricosprin 15 Tablet, or Ricosprin 20 Tablet, which are used for different clot-prevention or clot-treatment needs. This 2.5 mg strength may be chosen when a doctor wants a smaller dose that is taken with other heart medicines, especially in patients who need long-term antithrombotic protection rather than full-dose anticoagulation.
Each Ricosprin 2.5 Tablet provides rivaroxaban 2.5 mg. The frequency can vary based on the condition being treated and the other medicines in your regimen; this strength is often used on a twice-daily schedule in cardiovascular prevention plans, but only your doctor should choose the exact dose and schedule. Do not take more than prescribed per day, because rivaroxaban can raise bleeding risk.
Do not change your dose or stop the medicine without speaking to your doctor.

Ricosprin 2.5 Tablet is a 2.5 mg rivaroxaban tablet used in selected patients to lower the risk of blood clots, heart attack, or stroke. It is prescribed as part of a specific cardiovascular treatment plan and is not meant for every type of clot problem.
Take Ricosprin 2.5 Tablet exactly as your doctor tells you, usually at the same times each day. Swallow the tablet with water and do not change the dose on your own, because the 2.5 mg strength is chosen for a specific purpose.
Ricosprin 2.5 Tablet is a lower-strength rivaroxaban tablet, but it still can cause significant bleeding. Your doctor may select this dose when a smaller amount of anticoagulant effect is needed than with Ricosprin 10 Tablet, Ricosprin 15 Tablet, or Ricosprin 20 Tablet.
Common side effects include bruising, nosebleeds, and mild stomach upset. Get urgent medical help if you notice heavy bleeding, black stools, coughing up blood, vomiting blood, or signs of a stroke.
