Voltaflam 25 mg Tablet

Voltaflam 25 mg Tablet is a prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that contains 25 mg of diclofenac in each tablet. It is used to help relieve pain and inflammation from conditions such as arthritis, muscle and joint pain, back pain, sprains, and other painful swelling conditions. This lower-strength tablet is meant for patients whose clinician wants a smaller diclofenac dose for symptom control. Voltaflam 25 mg Tablet is supplied as a strip/box of 10 tablets by Novartis, India.

How it works: Diclofenac reduces pain and swelling by blocking substances in the body called prostaglandins that drive inflammation. As a tablet, Voltaflam 25 mg Tablet is swallowed and absorbed through the digestive system to help ease pain throughout the body.

Voltaflam 25 mg Tablet is the lower sibling to Voltaflam 50 mg Tablet, so it delivers half the diclofenac per tablet. Doctors may choose Voltaflam 25 mg Tablet when a smaller dose is better tolerated, when symptoms are milder, or when they want more flexible dose adjustment. Because it is a lower-strength tablet, it may be preferred for people who need careful NSAID dosing rather than a stronger single dose.

• Swallow Voltaflam 25 mg Tablet whole with a glass of water unless your doctor gives different directions.
• Take it with food, milk, or after a meal if it upsets your stomach.
• Use the exact number of tablets prescribed; do not double up to make up for a missed dose.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet unless your prescriber specifically says it is okay.
• Take it at the same times each day if you are using it regularly for pain or inflammation.

Each Voltaflam 25 mg Tablet provides 25 mg of diclofenac. • Do not drive if you feel dizzy or unusually sleepy after taking the tablet.
